Published content — research papers, articles, and a mailing list.
3. Using this site
These terms may be updated from time to time — the date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
You agree to use this site lawfully and not to do anything that would damage, overload, or impair it, or interfere with anyone else's use of it.
Eligibility. The services are intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to use the AI chat, book a session, or enrol in a course.
About the AI chat. Diane is an automated system, available on the public site and within the courses. Her responses are generated by artificial intelligence: they may be inaccurate or incomplete, and they are not therapeutic, clinical, legal, or other professional advice. The chat is not an emergency or crisis service — if you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services. Use of the chat is subject to fair use; access may be rate-limited, suspended, or modified at any time to protect the service.
Acceptable use of the AI tutor. The certification platform includes an AI tutor (Diane). You agree not to harass or threaten it, submit abusive content, or attempt to misuse, manipulate, jailbreak, or extract the underlying system. To keep the platform safe, conversations are monitored automatically for abuse. Where abuse is detected, your account may be suspended automatically, and we may record and block the IP address involved. Suspensions and blocks applied in error can be reviewed — contact hello@danemadore.com. See the Privacy Policy for what is collected.
4. Booking and payment
Sessions and certification are booked via email or through this site's learning platform. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Your card details are not stored on this site — Stripe handles all payment data under their own terms and PCI-DSS compliance.
Prices are listed in GBP and are as stated on the site at the time of booking. Pricing may change from time to time, but any change will not affect bookings already confirmed.
5. Cancellation and refunds
Therapy and consulting sessions: If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice may not be eligible for a refund. No-shows are charged in full. If a session is cancelled by Dane Madore, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
Courses: You may request a refund within 14 days of enrolment, provided the course has not been accessed. By starting a course within that 14-day period, you expressly request immediate access to the digital content and acknowledge that your statutory right to cancel ends once access begins. Once the course content has been accessed, refunds are not available.
6. Courses and LMS access
Courses are delivered through this site's learning platform. By enrolling, you agree to create an account, keep your credentials to yourself, and use the platform in accordance with these terms.
Certification is awarded upon successful completion of all required modules and assessments. The certification confirms that you have completed the programme — it does not constitute a licence to practise therapy or counselling in any jurisdiction. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of DFT methods complies with the professional regulations and licensing requirements applicable in your country or region.
Course materials may be updated as the research evolves. Improvements to course materials apply to all enrolled participants; changes to completion or assessment requirements apply from your next attempt, so the requirements you started with are the requirements you finish under.
Retaking a course. Once you have certified, you may retake a course to refresh your learning. Your enrolment includes up to three retakes; starting a new attempt resets your progress, while any certificate you have already earned remains valid and verifiable. Retakes and use of the AI tutor are provided on a fair-use basis for genuine personal study — we may limit automated or excessive use of the platform where necessary to keep the service available and sustainable for everyone.
Reviews. After completing the programme you may submit a review. By submitting one you grant permission to publish it on the site (shown only by your initials). Reviews are moderated before appearing and may be declined or removed at our discretion; you can edit or request removal of your review at any time.
